Private Yoga & Massage:

Treat yourself to a nurturing private yoga or massage session with Cindy in the comfort of your home or private healing space in Carmel Valley, San Diego.

Yoga is a Sanskrit word for union; it is the union of body, mind and soul. Cindy teaches yoga from her heart, with “meetā” loving kindness and compassion. Her style is fluid, like a dance and focuses on breath awareness, containment, body alignment and full expression. She enjoys teaching beginner’s classes, vinyasa flow classes, yin classes as well as hot yoga classes.

YOGA reduces stress, improves circulation, increases flexibility, boosts immune system, increases energy, improves overall health and well being, relaxes your body and mind, strengthens the muscles and joints, offers inner peace.

PRIVATE YOGA: A one-on-one session where you will receive loving support and guidance, learn proper alignment for each posture, and adjustments for your specific body type and/or health conditions.

Cindy’s nurturing and healing massage is a unique blend of Swedish circulatory, deep tissue, acupressure, Thai yoga, aromatherapy and energy work.

Swedish Circulatory: Gentle and relaxing technique using long, smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle using massage lotion or oil.

Deep Tissue Massage: Massage that targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury.

Aromatherapy: Massage therapy with the addition of one or more therapeutic grade essential oils made from plant extracts. Cindy enjoys custom blending select oils that are relaxing, energizing, stress-reducing and balancing. Aromatherapy is particularly suited to stress-related conditions or conditions with an emotional component.

THAI YOGA massage

Thai Yoga is an ancient healing art that has been practiced in Thailand for over 2500 years. Originating in India, it combines Ayurveda, Yoga, and Buddhism. This sacred form of therapeutic bodywork consists primarily of pressure on “sen” energy lines and points, and a large variety of yoga-like stretches, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “lazy man’s yoga.”

Thai Yoga is performed on a comfortable mat on the floor; the client remains fully clothed, preferably in loose or light yoga clothing.

Thai Yoga offers the benefits of an acupressure or deep tissue massage, the stretching and breathing of a yoga class, and energetic balancing of the body’s electromagnetic field all in one session.

THAI YOGA restores energy and overall well-being, reduces tension and stress, increases flexibility and range of motion, improves circulation, centers the mind and body.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
